Statistics in email or dashboard report not working

Added by Kevin Fernandes almost 4 years ago

Using version 1.8.3

When I try to send statistics as part of an email or view them on the dashboard I get no results.
My publisher section does have the statistics node in it and my email publisher and dashboard both have the statistics.xsl included.
When I view the actual XML log for the project, I do not see the "statistics" node as expected, instead I see a series of "integration" nodes (which the actual statistics) directly under the cruisecontrol node.

Is this intentional or am I doing something wrong with statistics?

I can modify the statistics.xsl file to look for the correct nodes and everything appears to work, but this doesn't seem right.

Any ideas, is this a bug?

Hi.
Do you know how can I configure the "publisher" section in ccnet.config file in order to send email only to person who checked-in if the build fails? Can you you redirect me to some topic on it? I'm not authorized to open new forums.

Thanks,
John.

I am not sure honestly, though I can say that I had a user in the user list that was not configured to get any emails but when they checked in something that broke the build they received the email that the build was broken. It may be that that is the way it is supposed to work. So just add all of your users (user names must match the source control user names for this work) but don't configure them to be part of any group then any one involved in a commit that broke the build should get an email. You probably want to configure at least one user (maybe yourself) to get all emails.
