Description

There is an existing plugin for BZR support.
Why not adding it in an official release ?

Hello,

this plugin is licensed under the GPL. We cannot include GPL code into CCNet directly.
You've to ask the original author and all other contributors to relicense the code under a more free license, like the MIT/X11, etc.

OK, I'm the author for the new release on google code. To my mind, I just need to see the license content.
I will contact the original author to ask the permission to switch license.

About this

We cannot include GPL code into CCNet directly.

  • Is it relative to dynamic/static linking license violation issue with GPL
  • Is the MPL compatible with CCNet ?

any reply about license ?

Hello,

i'm not a lawyer. But free licenses like Apache 2.0, MIT/X11, new BSD & co just work.

OK, I've verified that MPL is compatible with CCNet.
The project was updated to MPL 1.1 month ago.

Is it possible to ship this plugin in the official CC.NET release ?
What are the pre-requisites ?

We use it in our company, it works pretty well !

Hello,

sorry for the late feedback.

Please follow the instructions on our DevInfo_Resources Wiki Page.
And we'l accept your code for the next major release.

BUT: make sure you will maintain it in the future. Once this code gets unmaintained (and we dont know about bzr) we need to remove it.

Thanks.

If you've any further questions let us know.
